This 1st Floor Apartment is in the historic Corn Mill on the Quayside in Porthmadog Harbour. There is a Super King-Size Bedroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds. From the Living Room you can see the harbour with it's boats and on the other side of the harbour the train station for the famous Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways. A great central location to enjoy the seaside town of Porthmadog, Llŷn Peninsula beaches and the Snowdonia mountains.

It was a great place to stay brilliant view. We went on the railway only a ten minute walk. Easy to get to plenty of place to see. Nice places to eat near by. I would definitely return again if I am in the area.

lovely place small but fine for us we have a 4 year old and 2 year old, small flight of stairs to get too the front door, which might be a struggle for the elderly. Lovely place right in the harbour, free parking within 50mts of the apartment, 5 minutes walk to the town centre 2 minute walk to the pub and 4 minute walk to the park for the kids. lots of takeaways Aldi is 5 minute drive, the superb blackrock sand is a 10 minute drive, overall great place great location lots of pubs nearby, lots of takeaways. Only drawback was non-existent wifi and poor phone signal, but it was nice to be away from hi tech and just relax

At short notice we decided to have a mini holiday in North Wales. Harbour Station View came up on a search and turned out to be the ideal base for our family of four.

Located on Porrhmadoc harbourside the views from the flat were fantastic. The flat itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. Be aware though that any families with a member with mobility issues may struggle with the steep steps leading up to the door..

There are two pubs and a restaurant by the harbour and supermarkets and a wide range of shops on the Main Street a short walk away.

We went on the Ffestiniog steam railway (you can see it from the window), Zip World and Blackrock Llamas. It's an ideal base to explore all Snowdonia's attractions!

Coulbnt find the flat at first called for help very unhelpful said couldnt Consonstright on me .
People standing on the harbour poi Ted me to the flat . Help man phoned back with instructions
Flat was ok very dated furniture clean but date
We came home a day early

This was a lovely place for our short break to north Wales. The flat had everything we needed. There are great views of the steam railway station as well as the harbour, always something to watch out the window. House martins nesting nearby were fun to watch too!
Some nice restaurants nearby but booking advised even mid week. Lots to do in the local area, we were lucky with some amazing weather!

This was a very last minute booking and STS were very helpful. The apartment is in an excellent position, alongside the harbour, though there are a number of steps to go up to gain access. ( Not good for anyone with mobility problems/dodgy knees). The apartment was roomy and very well equipped as well as being comfortable and well looked after. Bathroom just had a shower and it was a good size. Kitchen well equipped. The only issue for us was the very hard mattress, which prevented sleep for one of us. We slept on top of the duvet and used duvets from the empty 2nd bedroom to cover ourselves. There does not seem to be any other reviews with "mattress problems" so maybe its just our age! There is a shared decking area with good views, up more steps. The apartment is in an excellent position for shopping/restuarants/pubs/steam trains and lovely walks to Borth y Gest and along the Cob. We would definitely recommend though do be prepared for movement noise from the apartment above.

Nice little flat right by the harbour. Close to shops and a short walk to the supermarket. Parking ok at night, bit busy trying to park on Saturday at midday, but clears quickly. Responsive owners when we had an issue with an alarm in the property below. Overall good break despite the rain.

Overall very good but some negatives -
Fridge freezer was of a size you might expect in a campervan,
Well equipped with crockery etc but no dishwasher and a tiny kitchen area so probably more suitable for 2 people,
Broadband was poor with speeds more like we had 20 years ago and non-existant at times,

These apartments need insulated floors and ceilings, very surprised with the noise level from above.i thought that this would have been done when the building was turned into apartments.

Would not recommend the apartment for this reason only.

A comfortable stay in an ideal location for those of us who enjoy the scenery and the railways. The flat was clean and well equipped. We would have preferred a standard double bed to provide more bedroom space, but that is a matter of taste.

Thanks to STS for promptly finding this opportunity to extend our stay in N Wales.

A lovely location. Great to look over the harbour, and the (distant) view of the locos. The apartment is small, but has everything you need. Comfortable bed, and good shower.

The location is fine, The general condition of the property and furnishings are very tired and needs a total overhaul.
When we opened the from door on arrival , the damp / old smell was overwhelming .
We kept the front windows open 24/7 all week , and the bedroom windows open when we could, but were restricted by the noise of rain water dripping on the plastic flat roof below. and also the below flats boiler flu ,which is below the main bedroom window and the smell of fumes was a concern.
The hot water system , created a high pitch sound after showering that must be heard throughout the whole building ..
At the point of our booking , The flat had access to an outside table area .
It was not made clear that the area not our exclusive use. It is access to the other flats and overlooked by all and sundry . We did not use this area at all.
Nice location, but in our opinion , the flat needs a complete re decoration and furniture make over .
The kitchen was fine and well appointed , The shower room was fine and clean . The bedrooms were fine and linen clean.
The flat was fine as a base and had everything we needed .
We will leave the decision to you, if you want to publish our critique , but we feel strongly the owners need to review this flat. Ray and Kerry Hudson

We had a fabulous visit to Porthmadog, the accommodation was lovely and very comfortable. Kitchen was very clean and had everything you needed. The bathroom was very clean,with a good shower. Lounge area had plenty of space and seating for dining.
Bedrooms were also very comfortable and clean. Would recommend a stay here, Great view.

We enjoyed another stay at Harbour Station View. The flat is perfectly sited, comfortable and well appointed.
My only gripe re. this visit is that the crockery and utensils were not all properly clean. ...eg. tea stains in the mugs. We had to wash all before use.
Apart from that I am happy to recommend Harbour Station View.

Harbour Station View is in a prime location with a lovely view of the harbour. Ideal to walk out to go crabbing, explore the shops and visit the local artisan bakery (Big Rock Cafe). Our favourite beaches at Borth y gest are a 10 minute walk away along the coastal path from the flat. There is a free car park across from the flat and we had no trouble parking. We would definitely recommend.

Had 4 nights, 3 with grand daughters who loved crabbing each night at doorstep almost and our trips to Aberdaron and Nefyn, best beaches there are.

We were delighted when we arrived at the stunning views of the harbour the apartment was very well equipped and spotless.
We booked for 7 nights and have only one complaint the noise of people walking on the floor above the first Sunday to Friday
We’re ok but Friday night a couple moved in and they seemed to be walking up and down and sounded as if they were moving
furniture this went on until 2.30 a.m. I did approach them the next day and asked them to be less noisy the next night as we
had a long journey ahead and we were leaving at 7 a.m. They were quiet about 1l p.m. So that was good, but it is a big disadvantage to the apartment because you can hear guests walking above it definitely needs soundproofing!!
Otherwise a great apartment!

The apartment was the ideal basis for our holiday. We had a lovely time as a family exploring the region's beaches, castles and hills. Nice and quiet at night, an easy walk to pubs and chippy. Thanks!
